The Hedgehog is a finished straw sculpture composed of so many individual straw pieces that it resembles both a hedgehog and a radiant star. Its design is inspired by traditional folk craftsmanship. Similar forms of straw ornaments were widespread in Latvia and Poland and were also found in Ukraine. The sculpture has a striking three-dimensional form and is available in two colour options: natural golden straw and brown. The brown version is created by carefully dyeing each individual straw piece by hand before assembly. This handcrafted piece makes a beautiful addition to any interior. It can be displayed hanging freely, where it gently moves with the air, or placed on a table, shelf, or sideboard as a sculptural decorative object.
